Wasn't that a Mariah Carey song?

On a recent visit to a butterfly garden exhibit...

Zootography

Our daughter loves the zoo, so we find ourselves there quite often.  On a recent outing, we took a few shots, which I will now share.  Yay!!

It really gives me chills when an animal this big and powerful looks at me like I'm an annoyance.  (shudder)

So majestic...

Our daughter's favorite animal...the wrinkles make me think of them as really big grandmas...that could squash you without even realizing they'd stepped on you....

A baby zebra takes a nap in the mud...

Some sort of crane, probably...
I think we'll have another batch of zoo pics later.

Bling, bling

We've been shooting some product photography for Diamonds & Diamonds jewelry store.  Guess what they specialize in?  :)

Is it getting cold in here, 'cause that is a lot of ice!

Summer Fun

Even though it is hot outside, you can still have fun celebrating the season inside!!

Someone has a little attitude...

She reminds me of those '50s bathing beauties....

Little Miss Sassy Pants....

A Family's Reunion

Three generations came together for the first time since the newest addition, Vivian, was born.  The families are scattered to three different cities, on two different continents, and we were there to capture their happy reunion.

Gavin and Elliot hang out with a very proud Grandpa...

Gavin recently turned six years old and is such a cutie...

The whole crew...

Bryan and Londonne's gang...

It was an honor to witness a family history and hang with you guys for the morning!

Don't Forget the Furrier Family Members

Back in April, we made a trip out to Susan & Brent's farm.  The whole place was SO charming!!

A beautiful couple...

We managed to get the whole family together....including the three dogs and the cat!!

We couldn't forget the ponies!

I love the old wooden fence!
Thanks, guys!  We'd love to come back and photograph in the fall!!

Nicole & Wade, part deux

Continuing the fun of our session with lovebirds, Nicole & Wade....

A slight detour led us to this lovely waterfall and we're glad it did.

Another unscripted stop yielded some nice photos (and Wade got some quality time with the statues) all because they totally trusted us...Love it!!

This shot was Nicole's idea and it turned out great (after we found a spot that didn't blind them).

We hadn't planned on this particular setting, but I fell in love with the hip shirts they were wearing and I thought a gritty urban locale would make a great backdrop.  Thankfully, this couple was up for the challenge and we got some great stuff there.

Still smiling...

Last stop: the LOVE train...Whoo, whoo!!

Thanks, N & W...you were a blast!  We can't wait for the wedding!!
